Full Car Restoration
So, if you're in for a complete car restoration, this is what you can expect to happen:
A methodical strip of the exterior
Interior strip
Running gear & mechanical engine removal
Assessment through these stages
Assessment of structure corrosion and body panels
Fabrication repairs
Profiling
Exterior panel work & repairs
Paint refinishing
Methodical assembly
Flat and polish
Of course, there are nuances and processes all in between.
Each vehicle and the work required is unique; therefore we always undergo a detailed discovery assessment when first viewing the car.
Read our blog here if you'd like to learn more about what happens during a car restoration. Or, if you're considering having your classic car restored, check out our blog for the preparation process.
Paint & Body

Paint & Body 〰️
Paint & Body Work
Paint and bodywork will depend on whether it's large or small scale, though there is a large overlap.
For large scale bodywork (bodyshells etc.)
We:
Strip existing product and paintwork via a mechanical strip on the exterior to avoid damage and thus increasing panel strength
Media blasting
We then work on the bare shell, fabrication & panel work; whether that's custom made or store-bought
We then profile, panel gap, prim, block & paint
Small Scale bodywork
We will assess panels and repair the necessary areas. Often only the point of repair is where the damage is; however it may work into a connecting area. We will always endeavour to match the paint perfectly after repair however, we will discuss with you if this is not possible.
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Work

Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Work
We have worked on many vehicles to convert them from left to right (or vice versa). Fit larger or more modern power plants, different gearboxes, overdrive units, rear axles etc. Engineering work is varied, and we are known to cater to customer requests.
Electrical work may consist of anything from a rewire, battery change, diagnosing and fixing an electrical fault etc.
Mechanical engineering could consist of a minor to full servicing, clutches, carburettors etc.
As we mentioned, we cater to customers' specific commissions. We love to think big and be creative. We've carried out some unique changes to classic vehicles. Check out our blog here to see the best of them.
Mechanical, Fabrication & Engine Detailing

Mechanical, Fabrication & Engine Detailing
We strip mechanical parts for de-rusting in mechanical detailing: this consists of either a non-acidic dipping process and/or media blasting (sodium, abrasive or aqua blasting).
If this is not required, we carry out an in-depth clean.
We then repaint and fit the fixings (some may be stainless fixing). We restore the piece to prior beauty or request.
Fabrication: a process to make or recreate an item (such as a panel) from combined or raw material. If we can not repair a specific part or purchase it, it may be required to do this.

Unique Vintage Vehicles
Classic cars are not our limit! You could say we're unique in that way...
We've worked on vintage cranes, vintage tractors, vintage fire engines. Some were for classic shows/events, and some were for personal collections.
We carry out similar services on these vintage vehicles as we do on a car. If you're interested in what we can do, send us an email with your unique vehicle.

Valet, Polish & Detailing
In detailing we thoroughly assess the paintwork. We also cut & compound through various stages. We do this to produce an unrivalled shine.
We complete the interior engine bay detail, underside detail, and underside protection to a high standard in a valet.
We then finish off with wax and oiling.
These stages are a standard process with the restoration and bodywork services. It can also be a stand-alone service.
Often, when a classic car show comes around, you want your car to look its best.
